MSR Legal Partner, Andrew Sayles, has been elected to the Board of the Directors for the Professional Liability Defense Federation (PLDF). PLDF, a national, not-for-profit organization, is designed to bring together attorneys, claims professionals and risk management specialists to share expertise and information helpful to the successful defense of professional liability claims. It has nearly 600 members, comprised of seasoned attorneys and outstanding insurance professionals focusing on professional liability claims. Andrew has served as a Chair of PLDF’s Lawyer’s Professional Liability Claims Committee for the past two years, has published multiple articles through PLDF’s Professional Liability Defense Quarterly and has presented at past PLDF Annual Meetings. Following an election among members at PLDF’s Annual Meeting in Denver on September 27 – 29, 2023, Andrew was appointed to the Board of Directors.
Andrew has nearly twenty years’ experience representing licensed professionals in New Jersey and New York. Formerly a partner with a large regional law firm, Andrew is a founding member of Moreira Sayles Ramirez LLC, where he currently oversees MSR Legal’s Professional Liability Practice Group. He represents attorneys and design professionals in malpractice and consumer law claims, in addition to his commercial litigation, insurance defense and class action practices.
