Mitchell Ramirez

Mr. Ramirez has earned a reputation as a “do it all” litigator with a truly diverse trial practice. In this capacity he has prepared and tried multiple cases to verdict, and is experienced in a variety of alternative dispute and arbitration forums. Mitch primarily represents companies of all sizes in complex commercial and insurance disputes. Mitch has been consistently recognized by his peers as a New Jersey Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in the field of litigation, and has been included in Best Lawyers in America’s list of “Ones to Watch” in commercial litigation.

Mitch specializes in disputes arising out of commercial real estate transactions, corporate fraud, breach of contracts (specifically supplier and service contracts), shareholder disputes, trade secret/non-compete matters and the defense of a variety of other business torts. Mitch’s practice, although focused in New Jersey, extends nationwide. His clients include small businesses, major Real Estate Investment Trusts, and everything in between. Mitch also represents high net worth individuals and family offices in a variety corporate and crisis management situations (which often include parallel civil and criminal/regulatory actions).

Mitch also has extensive experience in the area of insurance services. He advises a diverse clientele that spans local commercial property owners to Fortune 500 companies in the defense of a variety of casualty, wrongful death, and covered business tort litigation. Pursuant to this practice, Mitch also advises real estate and retail entities concerning risk management.

• Served as co-counsel to AmLaw 15 firm in defense of a national accounting entity in $70m civil conspiracy/corporate fraud matter venued in New Jersey Superior Court.
• Represented national management company in major, multi-party casualty matter.
• Represented major real estate entity in shareholder dispute over $150m project.
• Represented municipal entity in major casualty litigation arising out of massive fire which initiated response from multiple other municipalities.
• Represented large manufacturing entity in prosecution of corporate fraud case arising out of conversion of company’s products and seizure of company’s Amazon storefront.
